I'm Cleared!

After several phonecalls and much pleading, I was cleared this afternoon at the Connecticut DMV as well as the national database. Yay! That meant that we were able to go back to the Secretary of State's office and get my drivers' license renewed in about 35 seconds, thanks to the pass they gave me after waiting yesterday. They didn't even give me a hard time about my hair covering! So, we are again planning to leave on Sunday.
Several people came to see the house today, and two even filled out applications for rent, so there's some hope that things will be settled here before we leave the country. If not, there's always e-mail . . .
